Ingredients

For the Ham and Cheese Pinwheels:

  • 2 cans, 8 oz refrigerated crescent dough sheets or 2 cans (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 pound deli sliced Black Forest ham
  • 8 ounces Gouda cheese, grated, shredded or sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

For the Dijon Mayo:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray two large baking sheets with cooking spray. Reserve.
  2. Prepare the Dijon Mayo by combining the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and parmesan in a bowl and mixing until smooth. Reserve.
  3. Unroll dough onto a large cutting board or on your counter, pressing into a 12X8-inch rectangle. If you are using the rolls, press the seams together to seal.
  4. Spread the Dijon mayo and top with ham and cheese, leaving a 1/4-inch border on the edges.
  5. Roll up tightly into a log, starting on the short end of the rectangle and seal the seam. Repeat with the second dough sheet.
  6. Cut each log into 8 slices, about 1-inch thick. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving at least 1-inch space between them.
  7. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle the chopped parsley and poppy seeds.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm!
