Dumbo's Peanut Butter Popcorn

Ingredients  

  • 10 cups popped popcorn, unpopped kernels removed
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
  • Sea salt

Instructions 

  1. In a small sauce pan, over medium heat, simmer the honey and the sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add the peanut butter and the vanilla extract. Stir until the peanut butter is dissolved and you have a creamy sauce.
  3. In a big bowl, pour the peanut butter sauce over the popcorn and mix it well so all the popcorn is coated.
  4. Add the chopped peanuts and give it another mix so the peanuts stick to the coated popcorn.
  5. Spread the popcorn on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle some sea salt all over the popcorn.
  7. Let dry for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Please, please, PLEASE: Don't forget to remove the unpopped kernels. They are really dangerous for your teeth. (Believe me, I broke a tooth before...)
