Low Carb Hot Chocolate

Ingredients  

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces sugar free chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups almond, or coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice, or to taste
  • Optional toppings: sugar free whipped cream, cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, over medium heat, heat the heavy cream until it starts to boil. Remove from heat and whisk in the chocolate, combining until smooth.
  2. Return the saucepan to the stove and add the almond milk and sweetener. Cook until steaming.
  3. Top with whipped cream and serve immediately.
