Low Carb Hot Chocolate

Ingredients  

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces sugar free chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups almond, or coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice, or to taste
  • Optional toppings: sugar free whipped cream, cinnamon

Instructions 

  • In a saucepan, over medium heat, heat the heavy cream until it starts to boil. Remove from heat and whisk in the chocolate, combining until smooth.
  • Return the saucepan to the stove and add the almond milk and sweetener. Cook until steaming.
  • Top with whipped cream and serve immediately.
